Pretty in blue...

This one is a little different. I found an edging I liked and used it. I attached it as I went. Again, when I was done, I was done~
I used Lizbeth size 20 thread. Perhaps this may be little 'too large' thread for some. Perhaps my next one I will use a smaller size thread.

Really pretty, Nancy. Looks so fresh and crisp and professional! Is it easy to attach it right to the hankie? I always sew the edge on.

Maybe it would be better to tat the baby socks in this way?

Very pretty! I like using size 20 for hankies, although I agree that it looks much more delicate in a finer thread. I'd rather attach the edging to the hanky as I go rather than sew it on later. Somehow I never get the edging the right size if I make it and then sew it on.

So pretty in blue! (Heh, I almost typed "pretty in pink.") I think attaching as I go is the way to go, but then I typically abandon hanky edging projects before completion if I don't do them that way.

Snowy weather is great for pulling out a tatting UFO and working on it. Your tatting probably never gets put aside for a snowy day!

Hey girl, this looks great. I am working on a stitchery project and I want to put tatting around it. Can you show me how to attach it on Tuesday? This is lovely.

Yes, Fox, its easy to attach as I go. With this hanky, if you notice it has little holes on the edge. Easy to attatch. Linda, I have not tried with anything else yet. I have read were you hide the thread in the hem. I may try that with a different type of hanky.
