All done...

Here it is. The finished block. I did not attatched the tatted butterflies, I thought I would let Joy add them if she wishes.

I changed to smaller size butterflies...

For Elizabeth, who has lost her life to cancer and was taken to be with our Lord. May she rest in peace.

I am starting to work on a butterfly square for the memory of Joy's niece. http://joyintatting.blogspot.com/ She lost her battle with cancer at the precious age of 19.

Wow...I found enough scraps to make to not only make the butterflies, but I think it stirred some creative juices, to make myself a lap quilt...its about time. I got burnt out on quilting...I guess for me to quilt again, I need motivation.

I will also add some tatted PURPLE butterflies.
