Happy Halloween

Here is Miss Abby. She is a 9 year old Pacific Parrotlet. I caught her taking a bath and was trying to capture her beautiful tail feathers. You can see a bit of the blues in her tail feathers.

Catching the early sunshine on a beautiful 43 degree morning.

I just love our 5-6 mile daily morning walks...I never know what I will see...or hear in this case. First time to hear the horse!

A nice night to be on the water with Rosie and friends

The group was not to big this week. About 8 of us. Then men went ahead, we lagged behind. Talking, laughing and paddling. What we do best. Hmmm. Seems we over shot our turn and about an hour later one of the men kayakers came to 'take' us back to our launch. Fun times and a great 4 mile workout!

Pretty in pink. Our walking group, the 'Walkie Talkies' have a monthly breakfast together. Here are some of us on a trail near the restaurant.

I so enjoy walking here. Always something new to see.

Looking out our front door the other night, just in time to see this little family enjoying an evening stroll and grazing.

Mondays are always a larger group of walkers!

As you can see, we have a lot of groups at different pace levels. Always nice to chat and catch up with one another.

Todays ride on the Wing took us to War Eagle Mill for Beans and Cornbread. Great place to shop and eat!
Then it was on to Eureka Springs and then
The Short Stop Grill for ice cream on our way home! A very nice day trip to say the least!

A Honda Gold Wing...time to ride!

I love being a 'backseat' rider! We had a smaller bike for a short while, but after the first 300 plus mile ride we knew we  needed to do something different. So we went from a Honda Shadow 1100 cc to a Honda Gold Wing 1800 cc. This one has all the bells and whistles, I love the rear seat. A nice captains style. I say its better then a tractor seat! *smile* Arm rest and cup holder. The helmets have a mike and speakers so we can chat with one another. A nice little feature to have.

Todays ride took us towards Oklahoma then back around to Arkansas.

These are the Boston Mountains in the distance.

I love the Ozark Mountains....so much to see and do! Life is good. *smile*

This morning in the awesome 64 degree weather was a nice 5 mile walk.

We always take a different route on Saturdays...just to do something different.
Today was one of the 7 golf courses we have in the town of Bella Vista.

Dew was still one the ground.

Came home, jumped on my bicycle and did a short 3 mile ride. I went down a side road I haven't taken yet. I should have known it wasn't going to be good when it was almost all down hill! Holy hell. It was one heck of a work out coming back up. I love my life. It's all good.

We have an awesome...

...walking group! We had a total of 20 this day! Always a great time to catch up with one another.

Meet Mr. Black Rat snake. He was on my driveway when I can home from walking. We keep him around and we have no problems with small rodents. I guided him into the shrubs. No worries. He's harmless.

A friend has her grandsons for the summer so we went kayaking. 3 and half miles and I think we wore them out.  *smile*

Come along for a walk with me...

Love my walks. Again you never know what I may see...*smile* Nothing like sunny Northern California in the January!
