The color is Elderberry Jam....

Tennessee Cross, pattern by: Carolyn Coleman. Using Lizeth size 20 thread.
I just learn a few moments ago that the pattern was from a dear tatting from another tatting group I just visited with last week. She passed away last year. Such an honor to tat her beautiful cross.

Very nice. Looks great in that thread. I do love purples. I've seen some crosses that are similar to this one, but this is the first time I've seen Carolyn's design, I think.

Hi Nancy, I apologize for for not responding to your kind notes to me about the slipper. I wish I could promise a date but I am struggling right now to get many things accomplished around the house and to keep up with family events. I have started working on the pattern and I'm definitely hoping to work on it again soon. Right now I'm getting ready for our maple syrup festival event April 6 and 7. I'll let everyone know through my blog about my progress. I sincerely appreciate your interest in the pattern! This is a very pretty cross! I love the color!

Thank you Kathy! So kind of you to let me know about the slippers. Just didn't want to miss the pattern....Good luck and have fun with the Maple Syrup Festival. Funny, my home town in La. has a 'Sugar Cane' festival!
