My Flower Garden/Tumbling Block!

Yea! Its done. I used Lizbeth size 20 thread. Each flower took about 20 minutes to make, and the flowers are the size of a U.S. quarter. This project took me about 5 weeks of tatting. It measures 7 inches from point to point, 13 inches across and 11 inches from top to bottom. If you care to see how this was started, please check out my older post, when I first started this 'motif'.

So very pretty and the use of the colours makes the finished mat even more beautiful

I love your flower garden!

Great job! The use of color reminds me of a tiny crocheted doily I rescued in a rummage sale along with several yards of tatted edging. Is your color placement random?

That's gorgeous!!!

I must admit, though, that when I first saw the picture, I actually thought it was made from those... I don't remember what they're called. They're little plastic beads that you'd put on a plastic shape, one at a time, then press with an iron to melt them together to hold the design... That's a horrible description... LOL.

Beautiful work and I love the random color pattern and how it's balanced by the solid, organized green. :-)

This would be such a great way to use up thread! However, I don't know how you keot track of all those picot connections! Then, of course, the 'fabric' keeps getting larger and you have to carry it around. I applaud your patience to do this. It really looks wonderful!

Also, thanks for dropping by my blog! I wish I could give a definite date for the shoe pattern, but I still have a lot of distractions that are keeping me from working on it, including computer issues, which are almost resolved. I certainly appreciate your interest, and I do intend to fulfill my promise!
