I was just thinking...

About Desire', Ondrea, Grandma and Jhordon...

My oldest daughter and I were talking. She was remembering how she thought every little girl had a grandmother that made their dresses. How she even went threw a phase when she wanted to be like the 'rest of her friends' and buy one from a STORE!
Desire' would always make changes to the pattern OR better yet, she would just sit down with a piece of paper and draw her own design. Bless grandma's heart....not only was she a wonderful seamstress and able to do this, she enjoying pleasing her 'first grandchild'. Still does to this day. This went on even threw high school. Oh! The beautiful homecoming dresses! The prom dresses! Always, one of a kind.
Desire' is still like that today. Able to see something, quick to re-design it or re-construct it to suit to her needs. What a wonderful gift.
And now their is her daughter Jhordon, following in her mother's foot steps. A 3rd generation to carry on...thank you 'grandma' for passing on your gift to my girls. How blessed I am to have all of you in my life.
*smile*
