Last evening I found 10 eggs, today another 5. This will be my limit until I see how many viable eggs I have. About 3-4 days to hatch into very tiny caterpillars. All eggs found on the milkweed that were in pots. (grown from seeds). Time will tell...stay tune. *smile*
Yes, as you can see I will rear the Monarch Butterflies indoors. So the fun begins! First the leaves and eggs were washed, then cute in small pieces. Placed in container with lid and paper towel. Mist once a day and open to check situation. Labeled with date and number of eggs in each container.

A lot of work but going by last year looks like another wonderful batch of butterflies will be flying

I am trying to be positive. Not sure IF these eggs are going to hatch. What is it they say...don't count your chickens before they hatch!!??!! LOL I did ad 3 more today...just in case.
